(7-8-17)

Welcome to the life of Elder Holt for the next two years. interesting to think that yalls are going to be living vicariously thru email in my life of teaching people Jesus. haha im excited to hear from all of you guys. first and foremost i love packages!!! so anyone that wants to send food/ treats/ Anything else. feel free :) anyone that wants to send letters id recommend dear elders. its a website that makes it free for yall and i get a hard copy of a letter and don't have to wait till P-day to respond. So long as yall put your address in it. Ill try and respond to as many of those as i can but that means you'll have to translate my handwriting and that might just take the urim and thumin to accomplish. haha jk im probably going to hell for making that kinda joke on my mission. But yeah.. i love hearing from all my friends and family and if you wanna just email me thats great too but i only have an hour to email ish and so idk how much ill be able to put into those emails. i promise to do my best tho. Most of the weeks information will be sent in this email tho and my mom will probably update pictures on instagram and facebook and my blog she made me. atleast until i figure out how to add pictures to emails and then ill put those in hear. so unless my mom changed it make sure to hit me up at ben_jammin98 on instagram and ill have her put my blog address in my bio on insta (mom if your reading this please put my blog website address thingy in my insta bio, Love Ya ❤)
So not really sure what yall wanna hear. food taste great. not so sure the rest of me appricates it as much haha jk thats a lil too much info. Ummm so they have a saying here that goes "the weeks will feel like days and the days will feel like weeks" and let me just say thats true. i never thought sunday would come the first week i was here, don't get me wrong it was good and intersting and spiritual but the days literally felt like weeks if not months, but this week has flown by. Insanely fast. i found out were not allowed to send emails except on P-days but we can write drafts if we have time and done the 1 hour of study and 1 hour of comp study assigned everyday so its thursday.
Sunday we had fast and testimony meeting and not to knock on regular sundays or anything but its a whole new experience when testimony meeting has a pulpit that is never quite cause so many missionaries want to share their testimonies and they know that they need to share brief testimonies of the Savior or his gospel instead of 'thank-a-monies' or 'story-a-monies' so it was super good and spiritual and i learned tons, grant it i've learned tons everyday, lets see what else did i do, i joined the choir and as bad as i feel for the kids around me that have to listen to my voice haha i love being able to feel the spirit thats in that room and be taught by the director. let's see we had a musical devotional that night and then after that we watched a church film that they played. The one we watched was meet the mormons 2 which was cool
The rest of the time here has been busy with classes and teaching TRC's and PI's and that kinda stuff. during our exercise time we usually hit the field and well play games. they have spike ball and kan jam and ladder balls and a bunch of other fun games that if yalls havent tried you best think about it cause their way fun. I guess the biggest thing about the MTC is that i just want to go to Yakima. Im so excitted to meet the people and teach and everything its killing me hahahaha.
Oh and so far I've run into Elder Staheli and Elder Olivas and Elder Jones and Elder Lemmon and Sister Randal and Elder woodward whose in my room with me actually and my district and Elder MacLellan (my comp) played varisty baseball at pine view for anyone that knows him. It's kinda like a mini region 9 reunion here hahahaha.
Well i don't know what else to say. Thanks to everyone thats helped me get here and good luck to everyone thats going out soon. let me know when you get to the mtc!!! love you guys and miss you tons
